This regional firm, based just north of York city centre, is looking for an experienced Client Accountant to join their growing team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing a varied portfolio of clients from SME’s to PLC’s
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations
- Preparing management accounts
- Completing personal and corporation tax returns
- Preparing financial statements
- Supporting and reviewing the work of junior staff
- Contributing to the development and growth of the client base through business development
- Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high quality service delivery
What we’re looking for:
- Ideally qualified ACA / ACCA
- Experience within an Accountancy Practice is essential
- Strong communication and people management skills
- A proactive approach to client service and business development
