The Role
As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in managing a varied portfolio of clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses to larger corporate entities. You’ll lead audits from planning through to completion, liaise directly with clients and support junior team members in their development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audits from planning to completion, reporting directly to the Senior Manager
- Manage a portfolio of audit clients across multiple sectors
- Supervise and review the work of junior staff on audit and non-audit assignments
- Build strong relationships with clients
- Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and corporate tax computations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory frameworks
Requirements
- PQ/ Qualified ACCA/ACA
- Previous experience in a similar role within a UK accountancy practice
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of audit clients
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
