Ready to take the next step in your career with a growing regional firm? We’re working with an ambitious and expanding accountancy Practice in Leeds city centre who are looking to appoint an Audit Manager to strengthen their Audit team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager ready to step up, or an established Manager seeking a fresh challenge in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

You’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, leading audits from planning through to completion while acting as a trusted advisor. Alongside managing assignments, you’ll play a key role in developing client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the firm.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of audit clients across multiple sectors
  • Leading audit assignments from planning to completion
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS102
  • Building strong, long-term client relationships
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Supporting business development activities and identifying growth opportunities

About you:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Currently at Assistant Manager or Manager level within Practice
  • Strong working knowledge of FRS102
  • Confident leading audits and managing client relationships
  • Commercially minded with a proactive approach
  • Strong communicator with leadership potential
