Campbell Grove Talent are partnering with a successful international business on the outskirts of Batley who are recruiting for an Assistant Finance & Reporting Accountant to join their team.
This is a broad finance role, combining financial accounting, reporting, compliance and process improvement.
You’ll work across multiple overseas entities, with plenty of scope to develop your skills and get involved in finance transformation and automation projects.
The role:
- Prepare journals, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Analyse overheads, budgets and forecasts, identifying variances
- Support banking, cash flow forecasting and payment processes
- Manage employee expenses, corporate credit cards and related reconciliations
- Ensure expense processes remain compliant with company policy and controls
- Support finance automation, process improvement and efficiency projects
- Work with stakeholders and external auditors across the wider business
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and data quality
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in finance, accounting or a related role and graduates will be considered
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Strong Excel skills,
- An interest in automation, systems and process improvement
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders across different functions and countries
- Studying towards, or interested in pursuing ACCA or CIMA would be advantageous
