Campbell Grove Talent are partnering with a manufacturing business with a strong presence across multiple sites in the UK.

With continued investment and growth, the business is now looking to appoint a talented Manufacturing Accountant to join their Finance team in Bradford.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Manufacturing Accountant will play a key role in providing financial insight and control across production and operations.

You will be responsible for analysing manufacturing performance, supporting cost control, and driving efficiencies across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on manufacturing costs, variances, and operational performance.
  • Analyse labour efficiencies, overhead absorption, and productivity across manufacturing sites.
  • Prepare and maintain standard costing models, including cost rolls and cost updates.
  • Own the month-end processes for inventory and cost of sales, including stock valuations and provisions.
  • Work closely with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to provide financial support and insight.
  • Identify and support initiatives to improve cost control and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on key KPIs related to manufacturing and stock performance.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing and supply chain activities.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements and systems development across Finance and Operations.

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) – finalist or newly qualified will be considered.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment – ideally multi-site.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, labour efficiencies, and stock control.
  • Excellent analytical and Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ambitious and driven individual looking to develop and progress within a global business.

Hybrid working is on offer with 3 days in the office, and then the flexibility of working from home.
