The Role

As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in managing a varied portfolio of clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses to larger corporate entities. You’ll lead audits from planning through to completion, liaise directly with clients and support junior team members in their development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audits from planning to completion, reporting directly to the Senior Manager
  • Manage a portfolio of audit clients across multiple sectors
  • Supervise and review the work of junior staff on audit and non-audit assignments
  • Build strong relationships with clients
  • Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and corporate tax computations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory frameworks

Requirements

  • PQ/ Qualified ACCA/ACA
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a UK accountancy practice
  • Proven experience managing a portfolio of audit clients
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
